Free, intuitive painting: building up, removing, adding again. Acrylic, charcoal, oil pastel and spraypaint (main medium). Large fields of colour combined with bold, gestural brushwork.

There are moments in the studio when the shortest path is the most authentic one. No hesitation, no correction — just the direct encounter between paint, gesture and canvas. RAW. was born from exactly these moments. Each original finds its own voice: expressive or still, playful or dense. Unframed, because a frame would add nothing here.

Each work is a unique original — hand-signed, documented, and part of a growing series. Acrylic, oil pastel and charcoal on canvas. 50 × 40 × 4 cm. RAW. offers collectors a focused entry into my work — at a scale that fits any space, with the full energy of my larger paintings. Each original stands on its own — and is part of something larger at the same time.

What begins here will continue to be written. — S.H.E.

Fine Square gathers a small body of work in a 50×50 cm format, framed in oak with a shadow gap — the same frame that later carries Susanne Herbold's larger paintings such as Breakfast in Paris and Dinner in Rio. Conceived as an intimate counterpart to that larger body of work, Fine Square carries the same square discipline as me-square into a more refined, concentrated presence — a quiet contrast to the raw immediacy of the RAW series.

Independence continues directly from the series Pure. Sixteen works, created 2023–2024, trace a shift toward a freer, more gestural language — from the first dynamic sweeps of orange, blue and yellow to large-format pieces such as Cosmic Dance and Coming Home. Independence marks the direct transition into the current body of work beginning 2025.

Pure marks a moment of reduction — a recurring black, linear element running through each canvas like a current, a "flow of life." Set against soft pastel grounds (orange/pink, blue/white), the series began in 2023 and continued with two further works in 2025.
