Susanne Herbold develops large-scale abstract paintings through an open, not fully controllable process. Her work evolves between intuitive gesture and deliberate reduction, creating layered image spaces that remain intentionally unresolved and open to perception.

Her works have been presented in international exhibitions including New York, Miami, Barcelona, Berlin and Florence and are held in private collections. A significant step in her recent development is The Seed of Love (2025), created for the XV Florence Biennale.

She lives and works in Cologne and Mallorca.
