On the Trail of Adventure
As a child I could be found at any time with a library book in hand. Every Marguerite Henry (every book with a horse on the cover), Walter Farley (The Black Stallion series), Zane Grey, Max Brand; AESOP’s fables, Sherlock Holmes…notice a common theme. Yes, it’s adventure.
My journey in art became firmly grounded in high school. Four years of art adventures in a plethora of mediums: graphite, calligraphy, plaster cast sculpting, silk screen paintings, acrylic paint, and enameling on copper shapes.
My art education continues. Traveling the USA to attend workshops, closer to home were courses offered by local colleges and studios.
Exploration as an artist continues now. Subjects as diverse as my readings, travels, including painting and printmaking materials. In shades of color or not, each painting or print has a story to it.
Come along for the adventure!
