I painted this from a memory or maybe a feeling of long summer days when kids play for hours in the water, carefree and unstoppable. The sun reflects off the surface, their legs blur in motion, and time doesn’t seem to exist. I’ve watched my own grandchildren splash like this, fully in the moment, laughing with their whole bodies. This piece celebrates the freedom of childhood, the joy of water, and the way summer feels when you’re young and the day is yours.
