Toka Tāiko

Toka is a Māori word for rock and tāiko is a word for seabird. I went back to New Zealand for two more austral summers (2022–2023 and 2025) to pick up some threads from my previous seabird project (2017–18) and also teach sketching to geology undergrads. Meanwhile, I sketched other things I saw along the way.
