Rotten Row by British theatrical designer and painter Doris Zinkeisen (1898–1991), well-known for her society and equestrian scenes. The artwork captures a lively, elegant equestrian scene at "Rotten Row," a famous broad track in London's Hyde Park historically maintained for horseback riding.This piece is a premium offset lithography reproduction ("Pallas Print") published by The Pallas Gallery Ltd., London W.1.

Visual Details
The central focus is a trio of equestrians in mid-stride. A woman rides side-saddle on a dark horse, wearing a rich burgundy riding habit, a flowing white veil, and a black top hat. Beside her is a gentleman in a dark grey coat, white breeches, and a top hat, also riding a dark horse. Just behind them, a third rider handles a light brown horse.

The scene is framed by a tree-lined avenue with pedestrians dressed in Victorian or Edwardian-era fashion strolling along the fence line—notably, ladies holding bright pink and yellow parasols. In the distance, a large classical stone arch, resembling the Wellington Arch at Hyde Park Corner, stands against a cloudy blue sky.
