ECO-SCULPTURE

This series is part of an interdisciplinary exploration of history and humanity through the 70+ plants Serena Kovalosky has discovered in her own backyard. Historical and scientific research into each of these botanical discoveries provides a foundation for the artwork created from the foraged parts of each plant. This work explores pathways towards peaceful coexistance between humans as well as human/nature relationships by presenting these challenges through the lens of plants. CLICK on each image for details and the stories behind each piece.
