I am a painter and printmaker, and love portraying my sense of place through textures and colours. Water and sky, their ever-changing dynamics... the woods with the light filtering through... a muted dawn ... so many clear moments that carry me to convey them into paintings & hand-pulled prints. Artwork can be destined to hang on a wall, or 3D work; books & book-like structures that hold a painting & guest book tucked inside, tables with painted tops, structures using rescued wood or driftwood; these things tied with global warming issues gives direction and purpose to my work. Conservation matters.
