Flowers on a Tilt is my vibrant exploration of color and movement inspired by the simple joy of a bouquet leaning playfully in its blue vase. I used broad, confident brushstrokes to create a balance between energy and ease, letting yellows and oranges pop against the deep blue while red outlines give the blooms enough shape to hold their place without feeling static. The leaves and stems move with quick, natural rhythm, brightened here and there by touches of white that catch the eye.

The background hums softly with a mosaic of purples and pinks, textured just enough to set the scene without overpowering the flowers. Working in oil, I embraced spontaneity—each stroke feels both deliberate and free. This painting came together as a joyful experiment where form meets feeling, and nothing stays perfectly still. It’s not about precise realism but about capturing the energy flowers bring when they tilt just so.
