My work explores the quiet persistence of lived experience and the invisible forces that shape what it means to be human. Working in large-scale abstract mixed media, I use paint, paper, gesture, and continual revision to materialize what we carry, giving physical form to memory, thought, and experience as they exist, complex, present, and unresolved.

I build dense, tactile surfaces through a cyclical process of accumulation and reduction. Layers are constructed, disrupted, excavated, and rebuilt, allowing earlier decisions to remain embedded within the painting rather than erased. Stitching functions as a structural element rather than a decorative one, physically binding fragments together while acknowledging that rupture and resilience can coexist. Chance and intention remain in constant dialogue, allowing the work to evolve through both control and surrender.

Rather than illustrating specific narratives or emotions, I am interested in creating environments where viewers can encounter something familiar yet difficult to name. My paintings invite reflection on what we carry through life and how those invisible aspects of being human can be made materially present through the language of abstraction.
