A veces, la forma en que comienzo mis pinturas abstractas puede variar mucho. Esta pintura en particular comenzó utilizando un nuevo pincel de acabado decorativo para paredes, aplicando diferentes colores cálidos directamente sobre el lienzo, utilizando una técnica de "punteado" que creaba áreas muy sueltas, como nubes en toda la superficie de la pintura.
Luego comencé a definir, separar por fragmentos las áreas con líneas negras que fluían dentro y alrededor de las diversas áreas. Poco a poco empezó a volverse muy interesante y también a dominar todos mis sentidos. Esta es la etapa de refinamiento que se disfruta especialmente. Esta etapa también incorpora pequeños detalles que hacen cantar a la pintura, como me gusta decir.
También comenzó a aparecer un título cuando finalicé la apariencia de la pintura. Sentía una sensación de lava fluyendo, formándose o algo parecido. Así que pronto decidí, poco después de completar este abstracta, titularlo "El Magma ha Emergido". ¡Para mí, el título se ajusta cómodamente a la apariencia general! Espero que te guste.
Sometimes how I begin my abstract paintings can vary a lot. This particular painting began using a new decorative wall finish brush, applying different warm tone colors directly to the canvas, using a "stippling" technique that created very loose areas, cloud like throughout the painting surface.
Next I began to define, fragment separate the areas with black lines that flowed in and around the various areas. Slowly but surely it began to become very interesting and also to command all my senses. This is the refining stage that is especially enjoyable. This stage also incorporates smaller details that make the painting sing, as I like to say.
As well a title began to come forth as I finalized the painting appearance. I was feeling a sensation of lava flowing, forming or something akin to that. So I soon decided, shortly after completing this abstract, to title it "The Magma has Surfaced". For me the title comfortably fit the overall appearance! Hope you like it.
