Rica y dimensional. Textura en abundancia. Esta pintura. Si esto le atrae, entonces estoy feliz. Trabajar con una base de materiales texturizados es muy intrigante y dinámico. Esta creación ha simulado una profundidad visual y también en un sentido físico, de textura. Muy colorido, con vitalidad y fuerza.
Muchas de estas áreas tienen una sensación de movimientos fluidos, como ríos o arroyos. Pero lo más importante es la belleza, la atracción y tu sentido de lo que ves personalmente.
Sin embargo, comparto mi opinión, mi impresión de lo que creé. El título proviene de varias de las formas texturizadas que tienen una definición y una sensación de nervaduras profundas. El flujo de estas áreas también es como una serpiente moviéndose y deslizándose, para mis ojos e imaginación de todos modos. Así surgió el título "Serpentine Riblets". ¿Cómo titularía esta pintura? Tendría curiosidad por saberlo.
Rich and dimensional. Texture galore. This painting. If this appeals to you then I am happy. Working with a foundation of textural materials is very intriguing and dynamic. This painting, this creation, has simulated depth visually and in a physical, textural sense too. Very colorful, with vibrancy and strength.
Essentially a lot of flowing, river like areas, ponds of water perhaps, arise in many areas. But importantly beauty, attraction and your sense of what you personally see is what is most important. But I share my take, my impression of what I created, nonetheless. The title comes from several of the textured shapes that have rib- like definition and depth. The flow of areas is also like a moving, slithering snake, to my eyes and imagination anyhow.
So thus the title "Serpentine Riblets" came to be. How would you title this painting? I would be curious to know.
