Creating Contemporary Art for Every Space

An observer once said to me, “your work not only makes me feel, it makes me think!”

My work is inspired by places I’ve traveled, memories I’ve collected, and experiences that have moved me. I am drawn to abstract painting by an insatiable fascination with the mystery found between inner feelings and visual form. Each canvas becomes a journey into the unknown—a space where intuition guides my hand through new territories of color, texture, and movement. I surrender control of the painting process itself, allowing feelings, thoughts, and memories to show through choices: the sweep of a brushstroke, the transparency of a glaze, the mixture of unique hues. This art form strips away the safety of representation and asks me to trust in pure expression.

As an abstract painter, I allow myself to make instinctive decisions about color, shape, texture, and how layers build up to create something that expresses what I'm feeling, thinking, or remembering. As a result, my paintings seem to have an ability to connect with people in ways I can’t predict or control. My hope is that viewers will find their own meaning in my work and connect their sentiments with those I have expressed in my art. And, in that shared space, a deeper connection can emerge—one that reminds us that although our experiences may be different, many of the feelings they evoke are universal.
