Rekha Krishnamurthi is a New Jersey-based mixed media collage/watercolor artist and illustrator whose work blends abstract textures, vibrant colors, and organic forms. Primarily self-taught, Rekha has also pursued formal education in Children's Book Illustration, Textile Design, and Motion Design and Animation, enriching her creative practice.
Her signature style is a whimsical fusion of East-meets-West motifs, expressed through a diverse array of techniques including mixed media collage, watercolor, printmaking, and digital illustration. In addition to her fine art, she is an ongoing children's book illustrator, with multiple projects in her portfolio.
