These artworks start with a print of one of my paintings. It is printed with high-quality ink and paper and will last a lifetime. I mount them to a wooden panel so there is no need for a frame but are sturdy and easy to hang. Then I add some original detail that is not in the original painting. This makes the print an original artwork at a fraction of the price.

After moving from Texas to Oklahoma, I didn't paint for six months. One reason was the chaos of the move, unpacking, and settling in. Another was that I started a new job and was traveling for work. But the biggest reason was that I simply needed a break. When I finally started painting again, I painted this series of flowers. The idea was sparked by a book I was reading, and that's where the series name comes from. I guess that during the fallow time I was planting seeds and waiting for them to bloom.
