I am an avid hiker, and one of my favorite things to look at is the small details, such as moss on trees, lichen on rocks, fungi etc. Hiking also helps me consider the balance between life and death because this balance is constantly occurring in nature. This collection has helped me represent those thoughts and the idea that life finds a way. Even in death, there is life.
