These pieces form a collection of work that is predominantly focussed on scenes from St Peter Port. Working with water colour, water colour markers and both soft and oil pastels to create highlights and textures. (The larger pieces are all acrylic on canvas). The pieces are very much inspired by the changing light and colours that are seen through different seasons and times of the day. Very much influenced by the impressionist artists and in particular the recent exhibition of Renoir's work.
The collection will be available to view in the Chamber of Commerce offices from late November and into 2024. All original pieces are offered for sale and there will also be a limited run of prints available in A4, A3 or on canvas. Contact me for any further information.

I love pubs, a glass of wine or craft beer out with friends, watching footie or rugby, eating a lovely meal or just sitting and reading the Sunday paper. Pubs are an integral part of British life and I never tire of visiting new places and, of course, getting some quick sketches to turn them into finished paintings back at the studio.
An ever growing collect of Pub Portraits. Currently Guernsey and the Bailiwick; but if you have a particular favourite in mind then contact me and I can discuss producing a piece. To create the vibrant colours in this series, I have worked with Water Colour markers and Gouache highlights. The ink pigments in the markers create a more vivid and brighter colour than you might see with traditional watercolours.

All pubs are available as limited edition prints on either 300gsm water colour paper or printed onto canvas. They can come framed (natural wood, white or black) or in a mountboard. Available for collection from Piccalillidesign studios in Guernsey (Mill street) or can be shipped worldwide. (Price dependent on size/weight but will be quoted before payment).
