"An exceptionally rare, double-sided avant-garde work by Léopold Survage from his peak Parisian period in 1925. The composition of the obverse is a magnificent example of synthetic cubism and developing purism. Here, with drawing sovereignty, the author constructs with pencil and fills with washed watercolor a geometric network of intertwining architectural elements of the big city, city facades and roofs, over which the motif of a stylized tree leaf and a freely flying bird in the sky, so typical for the author's work, looms. The second (reverse) side of the sheet bears another authentic drawing or watercolor study, which enhances the collector's uniqueness of the works. The work exhibits absolute compositional purity, firm order and refined harmony of muted tones. The authenticity of the sheet is guaranteed by the author's original signature with the year and the original round estate/studio stamp in the lower left corner, obtained from the prestigious Parisian auction house Tajan."

Práce vykazuje absolutní kompoziční čistotu, pevný řád a rafinovanou harmonii tlumených tónů. Autenticitu listu garantuje původní signatura autora s letopočtem a originální kulaté pozůstalostní/ateliérové razítko v levém dolním rohu, získané z prestižní pařížské aukční síně Tajan.“
