Pat Borow has enjoyed a long and vivid history — military kid, California girl, dedicated student, backpacker, record exec, writer, art student. perfumer, artist. She has been a visual artist with interest in olfactory art, for over two decades. 

She graduated from UCLA in experimental psychology/perception, travelled a lot, worked in Los Angeles for three major record labels, and also worked at researching and writing about Golden Age films for MGM.

In Atlanta, she designed her own curriculum at Callanwolde Art Center and Atlanta College of Art, among others. During that time, she became involved with Eyedrum Art and Music Gallery, Atlanta’s groundbreaking alternative arts center, where she showed work and served on the Art Committee and Board, and the Norton Art Center in Hapeville where she was a studio artist, and put together exhibitions and music shows. At Norton, she painted and displayed her work, and also made and showed olfactory art projects.

Pat grew up in the South, with a three year detour to rural and urban Japan, and moved to Los Angeles to attend UCLA. After college, she travelled in Western Europe and lived for a while in Spain. She returned to California and went to work, in film production, the music business, and writing and copywriting.

She experienced a lot. She saw old world art and culture, and was heavily influenced by California’s art and cultures (there are many.) Her goal now is simply to appreciate life, do what she can to help, and do good work.
