About
My work explores movement, transformation, and the beauty of impermanence. I don’t depict nature literally; instead, I use fluid glazes, fragile elements, and weathered surfaces to capture its raw energy and rhythm. For me, water and the brief flash of a firework serve as powerful metaphors for life—its true beauty lies not in trying to freeze a moment, but in accepting its quiet, inevitable fade.
I use my practice to give form to the full spectrum of human emotion, from joy and wonder to grief and resilience. Rather than striving for pristine perfection, I embrace a wabi-sabi sensibility. I see marks of time, texture, and imperfection not as flaws, but as tangible evidence of having lived.
Ultimately, my work sits in the delicate space between presence and absence, growth and decay. By honoring the honest traces of transition, I create objects that carry the warmth, depth, and authenticity of being alive.
