AnyaManya is the title of creative duet of twin sisters working in a doll making. Anna Afanasyeva and Maria Kolegova are members of Union of Russian Artists and NIADA since 2021.
Anna and Maria began their art careers at an early age. By the age of twelve they entered art school and graduated from Kazan Theater College in 2003. Since their graduation Maria and Anna have been creating art dolls professionally. For their work they prefer static sculpture in the grotesque style. Their works are entirely hand crafted utilizing many materials and techniques (papier mache, clay, acrylic paints, antique lace with natural hair and fabrics). Since 2007 Maria and Anna have been regular participants in many Russian and International doll art exhibitions receiving numerous prizes and awards.
