London based artist Milo Burridge, is interested in the relationship between the natural and the man-made world. The artist is drawn to abandoned places where nature has affected the built environment, exposing its ultimate fragility. Having studied Photography at the London College of Communication, Milo works across boundaries between classical disciplines of photography - with its claims to representational veracity - and painting. Challenging the 'apparent reality' of the photograph, the artist treats the surfaces of his photographic prints with a variety of experimental techniques to create more abstract, dreamlike, and contemplative landscapes.
