Yómi-Place is an exhibition featuring artists Eric-Paul Riege (Diné) and Jacob Meders (Mechoopda) as well as Pomo and other Native Northern CA basket and jewelry makers. This exhibition highlights how contemporary Indigenous artists gather culturally meaningful material to build upon ancestral traditions and values.

The exhibition highlights the artistic process of curiosity and discovery as a path to making meaning and making art.

 Water is life. Vital to all life forms, its quality and availability have environmental, socio-political, and economic implications and impacts, while the element of water is also symbolic and poetic. 

 As a whole, the exhibition explores a variety of ways in which the artists create a sense of order, structure, and connection within a single piece or a grouping of pieces.
