Michelle is a practicing fine artist and also a producer supporting projects that use immersive technology. Her work is focused on cartographies and location-inspired installations. Her projects include ’Pilgrimage’, Lent art installation in Southwark Cathedral celebrating the final journey of Thomas Becket, and ‘Medieval and Modern Journeys’ a touring exhibition along the St Thomas Way, a new pilgrimage trail connecting 13 historic sites across the Welsh marches starting in Swansea and ending in Hereford Cathedral. Michelle’s 2019 installation piece, ‘The Map of Mundi’ inspired by the largest known medieval map of the world, Hereford’s Mappa Mundi, is now permanently installed in St Iltud’s in Llantwit Major, ‘the cradle of Celtic Christianity’ and the oldest seat of learning in Britain (500AD).
