This series is about how memory fades. It’s based on personal experiences with my mum’s dementia, especially moments where she forgot places that were once important to us. I’ve used reflections, patterns, and parts of city scenes to show how things can look familiar but also feel distant or broken. The paintings try to capture that strange mix of holding on and letting go.

In this cross-media series, ambient soundscapes created by 8ball9 respond directly to the visual rhythms of my paintings. The music breathes through the architecture, layering time, space, and emotion. These are not illustrations of each other — they are dialogues between mediums. The result is a sensory duet where neither sound nor image takes the lead, but both invite you to listen inward.

BoneMachine — Seconds of Time / FAR
This collection, grounded in experimental sound and industrial texture, leans into the edge where memory meets mechanical. The collaboration with BoneMachine offers a darker, more fragmented reading of reflection — one shaped by urgency, time pressure, and unresolved emotion. These pieces function as visual reverberations of the sonic world: cold yet human, precise yet unstable.

This emerging body of work will explore the psychological and emotional terrain of those who grew up invisible — children shaped by the weight of others’ needs. Through layered cityscapes and distorted architectural reflections, these paintings will become emotional metaphors for seeing and not being seen.
