Marney-Rose Edge is a New Zealand born; Vancouver based artist. She enjoyed two previous careers, in the printing and hi-tech industries. In 2010, a turn of events offered an opportunity to create her art business and to follow her passion.
Her favourite subjects include nests, florals, animals, and landscapes.
Mastering different mediums starting with watercolour, then acrylics, oils and now charcoal added to her line up of subjects. The subject can dictate the choice of medium. Her paintings feel alive with movement.
In 2024 she was selected to join the prestigious artist residency in France at Chateau Orquevaux for 2 weeks.
Marney-Rose has appeared on the cover of International Artist Magazine, with a 10 page feature article. Her work has been featured in the highly-acclaimed series of Splash books, the Best of Watercolour and Acrylic works, The Best of Acrylics, as well as receiving many other awards. In 2020 she was featured on Stella’s Studio television show, out of Toronto.
Marney-Rose was included in the Toronto based show, The Artist Project this spring. (2026) She is a Signature member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, serving on the Board of Directors for a number of years. Edge is also a Elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists and an Elected member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour.
