Air Shifting explores the moment an external atmospheric change begins to register internally.
My background in medical imaging has shaped the way I observe: small signals, shifts in rhythm and changes in density that reveal processes occurring beneath the surface. I approach the landscape in a similar way, as a responsive system constantly exchanging information with the body.
The work considers how atmospheric and environmental changes can register physically and emotionally before they become conscious. A change in pressure, temperature or light may be almost imperceptible, yet the body responds.
I am interested in this threshold between sensing and knowing: the point at which something has already begun to change, even though its outcome is not yet visible.
