Artist Statement

My work is rooted in the search for balance—between movement and stillness, spontaneity and structure, surface presence and emotional depth. Working in acrylics, stippling, and ink-and-colored-pencil drawings on paper, I build each composition through layered marks, gestural line work, and deliberate interruption, allowing tension and harmony to coexist within the same visual field.

Abstraction provides a language for engaging what is often sensed before it is fully named: interior shifts, quiet resilience, fragmentation, contemplation, and renewal. Whether atmospheric or structurally defined, each piece is developed to sustain prolonged viewing, revealing subtle shifts in rhythm, density, and energy over time.

I am less concerned with immediate resolution than with creating works that unfold gradually—compositions that hold space for reflection, reward close attention, and continue to resonate beyond the first encounter.
