Lisa Purrington uses painting as a non-verbal expression of life's stories. Born and raised in Madagascar, Lisa brings the rich colors of the tropics and her unique experience to her art. As a creative person all her life, art and painting was a natural progression. Recognizing that painting allowed her to express so much more than words is what inspires her.

Lisa is a mostly self-taught abstract artist living in Chicago, IL. She has exhibited in local spaces and received honorable mentions in the PAA125 Juried Exhibition and the Irving Arts Center Members Exhibition.
