Growing up, my family had to move around a lot until the 2005 housing bubble burst and my family lost everything. When my parents could no longer take care of me, I was determined to set out and find a home for my brother and me. I went from friend's house to friend's house, with my book bag and overnight bag, always searching for home.

Never truly having a house of my own, I often had to make the comfort of my environment my home. I create art for those who want a representation of making the place you rest your head, truly a home.
