Linda Tully (b 1958 Ontario, Canada) and her husband were living and traveling aboard their 40’ trawler, “Watershed,” in 2017 when she was set on a path to becoming a full-time Abstract Expressionist painter working exclusively in oil and cold wax medium. Linda was introduced to oil and cold wax medium, and to abstract expressionism, through workshops with Contemporary Artist Rebecca Crowell, and Artist Grace Carol Bomer.
Linda’s exhibition history includes solo shows at the Beaufort Art Association and Lipsitz Gallery as well as various regional and local group exhibitions. Her works have been acquired by private collectors and are currently on display in her studio gallery at The Atelier Off Bay in Beaufort, SC.
Linda lives and works in Beaufort, SC and can be found weekdays at her studio/gallery downtown, where her passion for meeting and encouraging other visiting artists is nourished.
