Before I became an artist, I was a teacher and a lawyer. I taught gifted students in Florida and South Carolina for 6 years before heading to law school at Loyola in New Orleans, finishing up at University of Florida School of Law. As an associate at a large law firm, I served as assistant city attorney for several small cities surrounding Orlando in addition to practicing real estate law. When my husband and I become parents, I started my own law firm. I practiced adoption law for 25 years. We have two beautiful, accomplished daughters of whom we are especially proud. Art found me serendipitously while on vacation. I became instantly intrigued by the effect art can have on people to enrich their lives, especially my own. Showing and selling my work at art festivals became a favorite activity.
