Kyle “Chile” Thomas is a Southern California artist specializing in Mixed Media, Modern Impressionism Landscapes, Abstract Paintings and Assemblage. Chile has been creating art professionally for the past 35 years and has paintings displayed in movies, television and permanent collections across the US and Europe. The artist is a proud father and husband and teaches Art at El Dorado High School.
Chile creates works that blend abstraction, satire, and symbolic imagery to explore the contradictions of modern life. Influenced by urban art and artists like Banksy, Van Gogh, and Kathe Kollwitz, his practice brings together layered styles and underlying social commentary. Each piece is a puzzle—juxtaposing humor and critique, chaos and structure—to reflect the complexity of the world we live in.
