Kristina Davies (b. Denver, CO) is a visual artist and educator who believes that creative expression is a form of self-discovery, transformation, and community-building. 

She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Sociology from CU Boulder, and received her K-12 Teaching Credential from San Diego State. She earned her Master of Education, Integrating Teaching Through the Arts, from Lesley University. Being a public school teacher for twenty-five years, she brought her passion for the arts into the classroom, believing that artistic expression deepens learning, forms connections, and broadens perspectives. 

Opening her studio in 2019, she continued her passion for the arts, exploring intuitive, process-based painting, both abstract and figurative. Recently, she has been using fabric, mixed media, text and sculpture to express themes centered around identity, human connection and social justice. 

She was an Artist in Residence at Chateau Orquevaux in August of 2022, earning the Denis Diderot Grant. In 2023, she was a Sharon Prize Grant Winner, which funded a collaborative exhibition at Children’s Hospital featuring work from art workshops she led with critically ill children and their families at Brent’s Place in Aurora, CO. 

Kristina has exhibited her work throughout Colorado, including The Hamilton Gallery at Children’s Hospital, SeeSaw Art Gallery, The Art Base in Basalt, Artworks Loveland, Curtis Center for the Arts, Arvada Center for the Arts, RedLine, BRDG Project, Bitfactory and Bell Projects. Her works are in private and public collections in France, California, New York, Kentucky and Colorado.
