Haile Maskel is an Ethiopian Orthodox iconographer based in London, UK, whose work is rooted in the ancient traditions of Tewahedo Christian art. With a career that began in 1995, Haile has dedicated his life to preserving and revitalizing the spiritual language of Ethiopian iconography. His hand-painted works draw from centuries-old techniques while embracing a personal, contemporary vision that resonates with both devotional and artistic audiences.
