Medium-sized works on canvas and panel

A series of small works on panel, made from found scraps of paper and acrylic paint. These pieces have strange tension between intention and randomness that I love. I choose and arrange every element, but then I obscure parts of the paper intuitively. The result is feels both curated and a little accidental— like a found object that didn’t exist until I made it.

A new series of collage works I originally made as exercises. I liked them so much I felt they should leave the studio. Each is 12 x 12", made on a flat 1/8" panel.
