Making Waves is a vibrant celebration of the ocean's energy, movement, and light. Brilliant reflections of blues, aquas, golds, magentas, and white ripple across the canvas, capturing the ever-changing beauty of sunlight dancing on open water.
At 72" x 60", this large-scale original commands attention while bringing a sense of joy and vitality to the space it inhabits. Layers of color reveal new details with every viewing, creating an immersive experience that mirrors the ocean itself—dynamic, uplifting, and endlessly alive.
Created for collectors who are drawn to bold color and meaningful connection, Making Waves transforms a room with its luminous presence and sense of motion. It evokes the feeling of standing on the water's edge, watching light shimmer across the surface, and remembering the freedom and wonder found only by the sea.
More than a statement piece, Making Waves is a daily invitation to embrace possibility, create positive ripples, and celebrate the beauty of our blue planet.
As with all of Julie Siracusa's work, a portion of proceeds supports marine conservation efforts, helping protect the oceans that inspire the art.
