In-Spiral-ed

This collection was included Julia's solo exhibition In-Spiral-ed, this summer 2021 in Red bank, New Jersey, at Art Alliance of Monmouth County, Gallery Space. “In-Spiral-ed ” is a solo art show featuring the fiber -art works by local artist, Julia Muench. Julia’s finds constant inspiration for her art work through ubiquitous structures in our natural world. She aims in her art work to convey a way we can see beyond cultural constraints, and perhaps focus in on some essential elements. Maybe some elements that we sometimes forget about. It depends on how one sees it, however, for her, the theme “In-spiral- ed” presents the enigma of our own cultural trappings and yet concurrently finding our way out, as the intrinsic spiral shape itself, suggests.
