A mini study of gum leaves and blossoms in various states of bloom. They are so pretty and delicate, I wanted to capture the different stages in one little painting. I also wanted to create extra visual intererst by layering different textures, from the grained paper with torn edges, to mounting on hession with a textured border in the wooden frame.
