I love to capture how I feel about a place and my connection to it using colour, form and contrast. For example, the softness and fluidity of turquoise waters against the rigidity and darkness of the rocks and land. Growing up near the coast and spending many family holidays on the Gold Coast has embedded fond childhood memories and recreating beach scenes in a painting is close to my heart.
