At this time of my life I find myself, an American, living in Budapest, Hungary, surrounded by my art, which defines me, lives me, breathes me. I am primarily self taught and my interests and styles vary upon my mood. My 20s, 30, and 40, were spent working with wood, from building log cabins and wood framed houses to furniture and cabinetry, and finally being a luthier, all these, and a predilection to "doodle" means, I spent a lot of time sketching when I was younger. However, I had never painted. At age 40 while studying in Hanoi, Vietnam, my artist was awoken. In 1992 I purchased my first set of oil paints, and a canvas. I have never stopped painting, and although I call myself a lazy painter, I have accumulated more than 250 paintings over the last three decades.
