Artist Statement;
Serenity Within was created during a deeply transformative chapter of my life. My work often carries bold energy and movement, but this painting asked for quiet.
As I placed each form, I thought about how life rebuilds us—one experience, one decision, and one layer at a time. The softened palette reflects the calm and clarity I have been learning to create within myself, even during moments of uncertainty.
Each form remains distinct, yet together they find balance—much like the many parts of our journey that eventually become a whole. For me, this painting is a reminder that serenity is not something we wait to find; it is something we learn to create within.
