At the heart of my practice is a commitment to slow, embodied making. Through traditional craft techniques and repetition, I explore how texture, surface, and form evolve gradually over time. Working with natural, reclaimed, and time worn materials, I allow structure, density, and colour to build through accumulation and slow material processes.

Domesticity has become an increasingly important source of inspiration in my practice. I am interested in the quiet rituals of everyday life, the unnoticed gestures, humble materials, and familiar objects that shape our relationship with the spaces we inhabit. I often incorporate natural dyes and pigments derived from everyday domestic remnants. I am drawn to the quiet presence of these materials and to the subtle transformations they undergo over time.

My process embraces the tension between control and chance, structure and improvisation, softness and resistance, order and disorder. Whether through the structure of a loom, the boundaries of a stretched canvas, or the quiet discipline of repeated gestures, I begin with a framework that allows intuition to take over. I respond to the behaviour of materials, allowing them to suggest organic forms that emerge beyond the structure from which they begin. It is within this tension between structure and freedom that my work continues to evolve.

Repetition and experimentation are central to my practice. Through continuous return, humble materials accumulate and transform, allowing each work to evolve over time. Throughout this process, I find myself continually searching for simplicity.
