Original 12x16" hand-engraved portrait of a bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis). A panel of Masonite covered with white clay and a thin layer of black ink on top, Jennifer used a small Xacto blade and mini-fiberglass brush to carve hair by hair through the black ink, exposing variable degrees of the white clay beneath. "JKay" signature hand-engraved at bottom right of portrait; full written signature of "Jennifer Kay" on back of portrait board.
Original is varnished and custom-framed with a 2.25"-wide matte-black sloped frame, without glass. Framed piece is 16x20" and ready to hang. Protective paper backing has a wire hanger, "King" title and "Jennifer Kay 2024."
