Terry is a Cleveland-based artist. She works in a variety of mediums but prefers creating three-dimensional pieces that reflect her Hispanic culture. She received her BA degree from Kent State University. She worked for 29 years as an artist at American Greetings, where she served as president and chair for the Community Outreach program for the Hispanic Resource Network. She also served on the board of directors of The Art House Inc. from 2012-2014.
She has exhibited her work at the Beck Center for the Arts, Spaces Gallery, FAVA in Oberlin, Lorain Arts Council’s Gallery 737 during FireFish Festival and Julia de Burgos Cultural Art Center where she is part of their artist collective.
She has been project manager/artist for the annual “Oberlin Public Library ChalkWalk” mural 8”H x 35W’ for several years, finding the appropriate artists to help paint the mural as well as coordinating all aspects of the project with client. She has recently helped high school Students from Esperanza Inc. create movable murals as part of Julia de Burgos Cultural Art Center (JBCAC) project called “Borders Within 2026” and her latest project has been helping organize and curate together with staff from JDBCAC a Hispanic Heritage Month exhibition for The Firelands Association of the Visual Arts (FAVA) opening this fall 2026 titled “Entre Dos Mundos /Between Two worlds," showcasing local North East Ohio Hispanic artists who are part of the Julia de Burgos Cultural
Arts Center Artists Collective. Also in 2026 she was part of the volunteers that helped assist featured artists for the Cleveland Museum of Art’s “Parade the Circle” at the Community Art Center/Centro de Artes Comunitarias, in the heart of the Latino Community. She enjoys doing community arts and Latino- inspired art.
