My practice is about the interplay of colour, process and space. I am drawn by the performance of colour and its dynamic energy to redefine space and conditions. The desire to expand the range of realities and perspectives is my driving force.
Since 2019, I have been staging participatory action painting events in public spaces where community members pour, drip, spray and throw paint together to create a vibrant murals. Part workshop, part performance, these happenings foster identity and a sense of community togetherness.
During these vibrant events I capture the paint splashes from the walls onto the floor. I digitally enlarge these fragments to hyper-real scale and transform them into paintings, installations and wearable art. Through this gesture of looking closer, I explore hidden connections and chaotic possibilities.
My work seeks to capture energetic moments, both as visual records and as transformative events.
