Ever Changing is a 12 x 12 inch acrylic painting on wood panel, capturing the quiet brilliance of a salt marsh as morning begins to unfold. Painted during a glowing summer dawn, the piece reflects that fleeting moment when the buttery yellow sky spills its light across the land, awakening the lush green grasses below.
The marsh is never still. Shifting tides, changing light, and breezes brushing through the grasses make it a place of constant transformation—a landscape that feels alive and breathing. In this work, I tried to hold onto that sense of motion and renewal, using soft, blended strokes and layered textures to evoke both stillness and flux.
This painting is a reflection on the beauty of things that don’t stay the same: the ever-changing light, seasons, and moments that remind us to pause, to witness, and to let go.
Framed in Maple Ampersand Wood Panel Floater Frame, that is specially designed for finished wood panel art pieces, creating the illusion that the artwork is floating in the frame. The high quality floater frames are designed with a wider base that prevents damage to the panel cradle and a higher profile and deeper rabbet to protect the corners of your wood panel artwork.
