Isabella Teng Yen Lin is an artist working in painting, drawing, and installation. Her works examine the nature of perception through the intersection of line, space, text and illusion. She is keen to explore how perceptual shifts may be made possible through humour in art.
Isabella has shown her work at Art Stage Singapore, OCBC Art Space, ASEAN Culture House (Busan, ROK), among other public and private avenues. In 2022, she recently participated in the 16th international art camp Tropical Lab at LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore. She is also one-half of MIRROR art duo with artist Pierre Pourville.
Isabella completed her MA Fine Arts at LASALLE College of the Arts (2021-22). She received her BA (Hons) in English Literature from the National University of Singapore (2014) and attended the Yale-Visiting International Students’ Program (Y-VISP) at Yale University, USA (2011-12).
