Taking a clue from the world around me I love to utilize what I can view, architecture, flowers, color and magazine articles. I have in 5 years gone from painting Mountains with a brush to using credit cards and business cards to apply paint to the bold swipes, rich colors with gold pen lines becoming a staple of my work. I mainly paint, but also sculpt, up-cycle quilt and I love capturing a moment with photography, creating my signature vibe in various enjoyable pieces. I try to find a way to incorporate something recognizable or unique to each piece that I create...Magic Still Exists.

Growing up in San Francisco I was fortunate to have been mentored by Cynthia Tom, Bay Area artist, and we worked together for years. We explored and created found object arts and fashion in fun forms, enjoying a successful studio collaboration, teacher and student. After school I went into another industry and as the years passed, I found that I still enjoyed creating jewelry, painting and redesigning clothes, when I could find time as I had gotten married and was raising a family. I never stopped dreaming of creating my art.

5 years ago I decided it was time to put the attention back on Art and I have created a successful business since. I've been blessed to find space at 1890 Bryant Street where I'm surrounded by great art and people. Working around so many artists gave me the opportunity to feel confident to just “Go for it!” and I began showing in San Francisco and then across the Bay Area. Currently showing from Martinez to Richmond.

After spending some time on the Board with San Francisco Women Artist Gallery I joined The Art Of The African Diaspora Steering Committee (Board) through Richmond's Art Center and have been very happy to work with a multitude of artists and curate shows for the past 3 years. Mentoring incoming artist & informatively supporting artists is easy to do with so many talented people in the Bay Area.
