Ian Lowe, founder of Lowe Tide Design, is a Coast Salish metal sculptor based in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. With over three decades of expertise in welding and fabrication, Ian merges precision craftsmanship with artistic vision to create custom, nature-inspired sculptures that elevate outdoor environments. Ian's sculptures primary mediums are stainless steel, aluminum, chosen for its durability, sustainability, and sleek aesthetic, making it ideal for enduring and impactful installations in public and private landscapes. Ian’s designs are a celebration of the West Coast’s natural beauty, often incorporating organic forms and materials such as rock, wood, and stone to complement their surroundings. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted, embodying a harmony between strength and intricate detail.
